The proposed composition will develop an interactive system which uses Theremin and webcam as controllers that change channels of a radio by the performers' proximity and speed of movement, by using customized SDR (software defined radio) to access local and international broadcasts. |

The Solar Particle Wind Chime is a first iteration prototype that consists of two sets of five hand blown glass bells, a computer, and electronic parts that pull data sent from the NASA ACE satellite, and interprets that data into impulses which activate piano hammers to strike each bell. |
