American Indian Artists
(AMERINDA) Provides services for Native American artists, arts groups, and Native community throughout the State. Asian American Arts
Alliance Service organization for Asian American artists and arts groups providing information services, seminars, funding opportunities, and public events featuring Asian artists. Dance Giant Steps Offers lectures, classes, and performances as part of Dance Week, an annual spring event in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Also, publishes Attitude magazine devoted to dance criticism. Harlem Arts Alliance This organization encourages the development of the Harlem arts community through networking, technical assistance, audience development and marketing. Harlem School of the
Arts Administers technical assistance funds to aid the organizational development and stabilization of institutions of color and those serving the traditions of other specific cultures. Generally, technical assistance is provided to organizations presently funded by NYSCA's Special Arts Services Program. Hispanic Organization
of Latin Actors The major service provider for Latin actors and other performers throughout the state of New York. International Agency
for Minority Artists Affairs (IAMAA) Provides information services, newsletter, seminars, developmental opportunities, and advocacy for Harlem-based arts organizations and African American artists and arts organizations in the New York City area. Also presents a film series and exhibitions in its Harlem facility showcasing area artists. |
