The Historic Landmarks Preservation Center addresses many aspects of the built environment in New York City, and beyond, by publishing books, articles and pamphlets. The HLPC also creates and produces television programs, organizes lectures, symposia, and traveling exhibitions that concern historic preservation and history, as well as presenting public art exhibitions.

The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs through its Community Arts Development Program offers small capital grants for renovation/rehabilitation, improvements and capital fixtures. Using construction plans and specifications provided by the applicant, DCA will solicite bids from qualified contractors, assist in overseeing the construction and pay the contractors directly.  For more information contact Ms. Carson or Ms Sarkis at the numbers above.

Regrants funds for NYSCA's Architecture, Planning, and Design Program for historic preservation documentation projects. The League is also the steward of the Colleagues Network, a network of over 30 staffed, community-based historic preservation organizations across the State. A listserv of the Colleagues is maintained by the League.
