Registration deadline: March 3
Application deadline: April 1

This category offers support for such projects as newsletters, cultural calendars, artists' directories, projects that utilize technology, and seminars and lecture series that serves the constituency of this Program. Generally, this category considers support for projects that offer specific managerial or information services not included in an organization's customary funding in this Program. Funds may be directed toward administrative and production expenses. Requests must clearly state the composition of the audience served and its expected benefit, and in the case of publications, must include information about subscriptions, print run, and distribution methods.


Application Instructions

The on-line application form includes the following questions, and a project budget. Required support materials are listed below.

Application Narrative Questions

1. Program Overview
Briefly describe the proposed service and goods, and how it relates to other programs in your organization.

2. Marketing
How is your organization marketing this service?

3. Audience
Describe the audience for this service, in terms of users, and level of activity. And, where relevant, describe how the service distinguishes itself from comparable programs available to the field.

4. Capacity
Describe how your organization can effectively deliver these services, in terms of technical, administrative, and information capacity.

5. Staff
Describe the staff, advisors, and consultants providing the service, summarizing their credentials and roles.

6. Evaluation
Describe your methods for ongoing assessment and evaluation of this service. How will you use the results of the evaluation?

7. Finances
Detail plans for meeting the expenses of this project.


Support Materials

Support materials must be postmarked or hand-delivered to the program by the application deadline. If you want support materials returned, provide a self-addressed stamped envelope.

1. Representative samples of flyers, performance programs, catalogues, etc. that document past, current, and, if available proposed activities.
