Submit your questions by email to the Music Program. Q: Is multi-year support offered in the Professional Performances category? A: Yes.Q: When projecting the minimum of 3 concerts during the grant period, is it sufficient to repeat the same program three times? A: No, each concert/program must have a different repertory to meet this eligibility requirement.Q: We are first-time applicants to the Music Program. Are audits/artistic reviews absolutely necessary before our grant request can be reviewed? A: Yes. (Click here for instructions on requesting an artistic audit.).Q: How do I know if NYSCA has up-to-date artistic audits of my program? A: Please keep a record of NYSCA audit assignments. If in doubt, contact the Music Program staff.Q: In the Recording category, is it permissible to request multiple recordings during the grant period? A: Yes, but each will be reviewed in accordance with your mission and the frequency of release of the compositions.Q: In the Radio Production and Broadcast category, will we be penalized if our program does not include contemporary American music? A: No, but such programs may be more likely to be funded.Q: In the New Music Facilities category, are artists selected to participate in funded programs required to live in New York State? A: Yes.Q: To be eligible to apply in the Community Music Schools category, must an applicant music school be a member of The National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts?
