The Literature Program provides technical assistance through a number of literary service partners to literary publishers, literary presenters, and individual writers and information access for the general public. For more information, please contact the partner directly.


Technical Assistance for Book and
Literary Magazine Publishers (NYTAP)

The Council of Literary Magazines and Presses administers, on behalf of the Literature Program, a technical assistance project (NYTAP) for New York State nonprofit literary publishers. The project offers convenings, workshops, and panel discussions on a variety of publishing topics, facilitates peer mentoring, and provides a limited amount of travel subsidy.

The Literature Program offers a technical assistance project (LitTAP) for New York State nonprofit literary presenters at all budget levels. The project features an extensive technical assistance website, consultancies, and convenings of the literary field.

Regrant Funding From Poets & Writers

Poets & Writers, Inc. administers a regranting program supporting readings and workshops. Funds are granted for writer/workshop instructor fees on a matching basis statewide. Organizations may not apply to both Poets & Writers and NYSCA for the same project in the same fiscal year.
