to the Field
(Competitive category) The Services to the Field category is designed to support development in the arts-in-education field through innovative projects that focus on improving the practice and building the capacity of the field. Requests in this category may include small research projects, regional roundtables, and other professional convenings. The maximum award for projects in this category is $40,000. Multi-year support is available in this category. Applicants in this category are encouraged to contact Program staff well before the March 3 registration deadline. Application Instructions The on-line application form includes the following questions, and a project budget. Complete the arts in education supplemental form as part of this request, if applicable. If you want support materials returned, provide a self-addressed stamped envelope. 1. Applicants whose projects represent a partnership with a school, district, or college/university must provide a written letter of agreement from the partner(s) that demonstrates support for the project (monetarily and otherwise) and outlines roles and responsibilities for each partner involved.
