Services to the Field
Registration deadline: February 22, 2011 The Services to the Field category is designed to support innovative projects of statewide or regional scope, and statewide significance, which support the development of the arts education field. Projects supported through this category must provide tangible services to multiple organizations statewide, or within a specific region(s). Eligible projects must focus on 1) building the capacity of cultural organizations and the field in general to engage in arts education and lifelong learning partnerships; or 2) improving the practice and knowledge base of the field at large. Funding may be requested to support professional development for field-specific capacity-building within multiple organizations. Research projects are ineligible for support. New or returning applicants are required to consult with NYSCA staff well in advance of the registration deadline to discuss eligibility for support in this category. Application Instructions The online application form includes the questions below. Applicants are also required to submit: online Organizational Budget for the current fiscal year, Project Budget (please use the Budget Notes section to detail income and expense items), Cultural Data Project Report and support materials. Please note that your request amount should not exceed 50% of the total Project Budget. First-time applicants are required to call staff before the registration deadline. NYSCA encourages the submission of Web-based Work Samples and Support Material whenever possible. 1. Sample brochures or publications relating to the service requested in this application. (2 copies per item) 2. Sample questionnaires, surveys or evaluations of the services. 3. Brief biographies of key staff, consultants, and advisors on a single page. |
