About
NYSCA Grants
NYSCA accepts grant proposals each year from nonprofit organizations incorporated in New York State. NYSCA is organized into discipline-based funding areas.
Please read these
guidelines carefully. Please also read
the guidelines specific to the programs for which your application is planned. The
Council on the Arts strongly advises applicant organizations to contact program staff before beginning the application process to ensure that
that the application is submitted to the appropriate program and category. All grants are subject
to the approval of the Council. Previous Council grant funding does not guarantee
support in any succeeding year, and past grant award amounts are not indicative
of future grant award amounts. To be eligible for a grant, an applicant
must meet all eligibility requirements at the time of application
and during the grant period. 1. Before you start,
please click the links on the left. 2. When you are ready to proceed, please explore the application guidelines link above to find the discipline and category that best matches your proposed arts activity. We encourage applicants to contact our staff well before the registration deadline. In addition, you can use the Past NYSCA grants link above to read about grants we have made in recent years and learn more about what we fund. 3. Once you have read the information in the left-hand links, you are invited to log in to your existing electronic file. Or, if you are a new NYSCA applicant, click the First-time Users Start Here box in the upper right hand corner and follow the instructions to establish your NYSCA file. |
This web site contains all the
information you need to apply for a grant, as well as the actual
on-line application. |
