Who is eligible Funding criteria NYSCA does not fund... Grant amounts Deadlines Your NYSCA
file |
How
to apply After you have established your NYSCA electronic file, you can begin the NYSCA grant application process. Note: some programs, especially those in the performing arts, require that an artistic audit be completed before you are eligible to receive a grant. See Instructions for requesting an artistic audit. The NYSCA grant application process has two steps. 1. Register each grant request by March 3. 2. Submit an application for each of those registered requests at one of four assigned deadlines. How to Start On the NYSCA login page, log in to the system, using your username and password. Click the 'Organizational Info' link on the left navigation bar and complete or update the form. Click the 'Submit' button at the end. Click the 'Registration Form' link and follow the instructions. When you register your requests, you are telling us what program and category you will be applying in, how much money you will be asking for, and some very brief information about the proposed activity. The subsequent application form contains your project narrative and project budget detailing the proposed activity. This information is evaluated by the NYSCA staff, panels, and Council. Multi-year Grants Organizations with continuing a multi-year grant or grants, must register each of those grants each year. Grantees will be asked if there are any material changes in the funded activity during the past year. Failure to register will result in cancellation of the grant. |
Always check with NYSCA's help desk before creating a new organizational file. You may already be in there and duplicates cause big problems! |
