Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is an Organization Budget required this year? A: All applicants (including ongoing multi-year recipients) must complete an organization budget in addition to submitting a CDP Funder Report. Q: Do I need to change my Fiscal Year or Grant Period to use CDP? A: Users are not required to change their fiscal year to complete a CDP Data Profile. NYSCA applicants are not required to make a change so that their CDP data better aligns with NYSCA's process. Q: My organization has less than two (2) complete Fiscal Years. Can I still use CDP? A: CDP does not require two (2) years of audited statements; CDP will accept one (1) year of audited statements from new organizations that simply do not have two (2) years. CDP will also accept one (1) year of financial statements, un-audited for new organizations. Q: My organization has audited data for FY08 and FY09 but not for FY10. What should I submit? A: CDP recommends that users enter only finalized financial data (i.e., board approved, independently reviewed, or fully audited figures). NYSCA's guidelines request data from the last two completed fiscal years. Given CDP's guidance, if an applicant has audited figures, from FY08-09, but not FY10, they should submit only their data from FY08-09. Q: Can I submit an updated report later? A: Applicants may submit updated Funder Reports at any time up until the deadline. The most recently received report as of April 1, 2011 will be sent to panel. |
Submit CDP Funder Reports via email to CDP@nysca.org. Be sure to use your organization's legal name as the name of your file. |
